Yomayra Vallejo Cortez is an attorney who has been practicing immigration law since 2016. She has handled over 1,000 immigration matters and has produced successful outcomes in a wide variety of immigration cases, including asylums, withholding of removal, family-based petitions, TPS, VAWA, DACA, naturalizations, removal of conditions on lawful permanent resident cards, and others. Ms. Vallejo Cortez is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She has a strong passion for immigration and takes a personal and hands-on approach in every case the law firm handles.

Ms. Vallejo Cortez graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law with a Master’s Degree in Comparative Law in 2016. She obtained her Juris Doctor and Attorney degrees from the Pontifical Catholic University in Quito, Ecuador in 1990. She is licensed to practice law in the United States and in Ecuador. She currently holds a New York bar license since 2016. She previously worked as an attorney in Quito, Ecuador prior to immigrating to the United States in 2002. Ms. Vallejo Cortez brings international expertise to the law firm and personally understands the challenges immigrants face.
