Yomayra Vallejo Cortez graduated from the Levin  College of Law of the University of Florida with a Master’s Degree in Comparative Law. She obtained her Juris Doctor and Attorney degrees from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador in Quito, in 1990. She is licensed to practice law in the United States and in Ecuador. She is an attorney admitted to practice law by the New York Court of Appeals.
